AREA 12 DRILL DISTRICTS
On Saturday, March, 24th, our Blue De4vil Drill Team competed at the Area 12 District Drill meet at Ridge Community High School. Our Male/Mix Colorguard, Female Armed, and Female unarmed squads placed 3rd overall, while our Female Colorguard secured 2nd.

WH PD 5K
On March 9th, Our Blue Devil Cadets volunteered for the 11th annual Police Department 5k in downtown Winter Haven. They handed out water and medals to runners, while also cheering them on. This race helped to fundraise for the Special olympicfs Florida. Three of our own cadets also ran and earned 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in their age groups.
JPA
On March 7th, a member of the 6th BDE HQ JROTC came to Winter Haven High School to inspect our Blue Devil Battalion as part of the JROTC Program of Acredidation (JPA). This inspection happens every 5 years. Our battalion passed with a 98%, only needing 95% to pass.
JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT
On February 28th, our Blue Devil Cadets traveled to Garden Grove Elementary to participate in this year's Junior Achievement, which is a nonprofit educational organization. Its purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. With this, our cadets worked in groups of two and taught students the importance of family, community, and finance. Both cadets and sstudents had a lot of fun and enjoyed connecting with one another.
